Dorm Sweet Dorm: Apple Nachos

Apple nachos are a quick and simple, no-bake snack.

Being stuck in a dorm during the pandemic can be tough. With students almost at the end of the first half of the semester, cabin fever might be setting in for some. With COVID-19, there isn’t much happening on campus, so students have to make do. As residents can not use the kitchen available in their dorm buildings, it does not leave students with a lot of options for cooking. This week, I decided to share one of my favorite and easy snacks to make. I love this recipe because the toppings are so interchangeable. You can use whatever you have in your dorm to make your own version of apple nachos.

1 apple
2 tablespoons of caramel syrup
2 tablespoons of marshmallow fluff
Chocolate chips

Slice one apple, peel if desired
Tip: Use an apple corer and slicer to get the perfect apple slices, it makes cutting the apples extremely quick and simple.
Drizzle caramel syrup over apples
Drizzle marshmallow fluff over apples
Tip: Put your marshmallow fluff into a Ziploc bag, then cut the corner of the bag off. This will make it easier to drizzle the marshmallow over the apples.
Top with chocolate chips
