Breaking: E&H to Provide Fans with Tickets to Outdoor Sporting Events
E&H Announced that commencement will be held in the Fred Selfe Stadium at 30% capacity.
On Monday, Mar. 1, E&H announced that student tickets would be available for the first home football game of spring season.
The game will take place at Fred Selfe Stadium on Friday, Mar. 5 at 2 p.m. There will be 250 tickets available and students may claim one by emailing Ryan Bowyer, Associate Provost & Dean of Students, at [email protected].
COVID-19 protocols will be enforced for all attendees during the game. This includes social distancing, facial coverings, and temperature checks at the gate.
In addition, a separate announcement was made regarding the attendance policy for all outdoor sporting events this semester.
The following venues will be operating at a limited capacity this season: Fred Selfe Stadium, Porterfield-DeVault Field, the Richardson Tennis Courts, and the Wasp Softball Field.
E&H will limit the number of spectators at each game to 1,000, and no visiting fans will be allowed to attend. Student-athletes and their parents are given priority for tickets, then tickets will be offered to the general public.
In the event that either participating team has more than 5% of their players testing positive for COVID-19, no spectators will be allowed to attend.
There will be no tailgating or concessions at any of the events.
Game cancellations and future information can be found on the E&H Athletics website, GoWasps.com
