Pearce Named Next Golf Coach at Emory & Henry

The Emory & Henry College of Athletics and Interim Director of Athletics Anne Crutchfield is excited to announce the hiring of Bill Pearce as the next Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach. Pearce relieved former E&H Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach Justin Harvey after just two years on the job. Pearce will begin his coaching duties immediately. Coach Pearce earned his bachelor degree from Otterbein College in 1987. There he was a member of the baseball team. In 2011, Coach Pearce went back to Otterbein College and completed his Masters of Arts degree in teaching with a specialty in science and social studies. Pearce joins Emory & College after teaching seven years at Rosemore Middle School teacher in Columbus, Ohio. While in Ohio, Pearce coaching basketball, baseball, and football. Coach Pearce has a background with money prior to teaching. Pearce spent over 20 years in the banking industry, fourteen of those were with JP Morgan Chase. Coach Pearce was an assistant golf pro for two years at Lancaster Country Club in Lancaster Ohio.
