Nov. 10-12, Emory & Henry will see its 30th annual Arts & Crafts Fair. This year the fair has a new location in Mason Fellowship Hall in Memorial Chapel at E&H. The Fair will be open from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday free of charge. On Wednesday, Nov. 9, there will be a Preview Sale from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that requires a $3 admission charge.
There should be around 40 vendors, all selling items made by local artisans. According to the events announcement, items for sale include may include “baked goods, pottery, fabric and quilting, candles, jewelry, woodworking, toys, and wool items.” Additionally there will be an Attic Sale for consignment items.
The College-Community Club sponsors the Fair. Proceeds of the event will go to scholarships and grants through E&H and to the upkeep of the historic Tobias Smyth House. The Fair will be a great opportunity to buy Holiday gifts and support E&H and its surrounding artisan community.
