Marley is a very special pet to my family. On July 5, 2015 my step-grandmother heard a strangled meow in the alley next to her home in Salem. She found a tiny kitten nearly drowned in a trash can. The tiny, underweight fur ball took shelter in my grandparents’ barber shop for a couple of hours until they called my family. Very shy and exhausted he hid under the chairs in the barber shop. I picked him up and fell in love with him instantly. My sister, Mekenzie, held him next and he was instantly spoiled. Marley sleeps next to my face everynight when I am home. He obviously now has fully recovered and spends the majority of his day lounging in my room at home watching birds through the windows or terrorizing the family dogs.
